What Is Mobile Wound Care?

Mobile wound care is a specialized medical service in which a wound care physician evaluates and treats wounds on-site in a patient’s residence or care facility our mobile wound care services. Instead of transporting medically fragile or complex patients to an outpatient wound clinic, care is delivered bedside, improving access and continuity of care.

This model allows for closer monitoring, timely interventions, and direct collaboration with facility nursing staff and caregivers, all while minimizing disruption to the patient.

Patients benefit from:

  • Ongoing wound measurements and clinical documentation

  • Advanced dressing selection based on wound characteristics

  • Debridement when clinically indicated

  • Care coordination with nursing staff and caregivers

  • On-site provider evaluation

Conditions We Treat

We specialize in the evaluation and management of chronic and complex wounds, including:

  • Pressure ulcers (bed sores)

  • Diabetic foot ulcers

  • Venous stasis ulcers

  • Arterial ulcers

  • Surgical wounds

  • Infected wounds

  • Skin tears

  • Non-healing wounds

Each treatment plan is individualized based on wound stage, underlying medical conditions, vascular status, and the patient’s overall health.

Advanced Wound Care Treatments We Provide

Our mobile wound care program offers evidence-based therapies designed to promote healing, reduce complications, and support long-term outcomes.

Advanced Wound Dressings

Use of antimicrobial, collagen, foam, hydrofiber, and moisture-balancing dressings tailored to wound type, drainage level, and surrounding skin condition.

Biologic & Cellular Tissue Products

Advanced treatment options for complex or stalled wounds when appropriate, based on clinical assessment and healing response.

Infection Monitoring & Management

Ongoing evaluation for signs of infection, including cellulitis, osteomyelitis, or systemic involvement, with timely escalation of care when needed.
